Bachelor´s and Licenciate in music
with liric’s emphasis from Costa Rica University (Universidad
de Costa Rica). In the summer of 1994 was invited by Operafest Company
in Boston Massachussets..
Guest soloist of Costa Rica Sinfonic Orquestra (Sinfónica Nacional
de Costa Rica) at the scholar performances in 1996.
She has also performed at the contest “Giovanni Pierluigi da
Palestrina,” with “Santa Teresita del niño Jesús”
chorus, in San Ignacio church and in the Vatican at Rome Italy.
Some of her many other soloist performances includes masterpieces
like Mozart´s “Coronation Mass” and “Requiem”,
Faurè’s “Requiem”, Vivaldi´s “Magnificat”
and “Gloria”, Beethoven’s “Choral Fantasy”,
Moteverdi’s “Vespers of the Blessed Virgen”, ”
Luis Diego Herra’s “Cuando llegas a mis Sueños
and in Verdi’s Opera Rigoletto.
With the Chamber Opera of Costa Rica (Opera de Cámara de Costa
Rica) had performed “Eliseo Madrileño” from zarzuela’s
“La Gran Vía” and on April and October 2005, as
Isabelle / Madeline in the opera “The Face in the Barroom Floor”
of Henry Mollicone.
She was invited by de National Sinfonic of Costa Rica to their tour
to Japan, under the direction of Dr, Chosei Komatsu in September 4
to 15,2005 at Ishikawa Ongakudo Concert Hall Kanasawa, Harmony Hall
Fukui and in Kobe International House Concert Hall with the Cantata
for Soprano and Orchestra of Eddie Mora national composer of Costa
Rica.
Musical appreciation teacher at Costa Rica University (Universidad
de Costa Rica) since August 2001.
